Annex Dance Company is seeking dancers to perform in our February 11, 2023 concert at the Sottile Theatre. The dancers will audition to be cast in a section of our newest work Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. Dancers must be in 8th through 12th grades,at least 13 years old, and available for all of the rehearsals (only one absence can be accommodated). The piece is rooted in modern dance, but no specific training in modern is required.

All rehearsals for this performance will be at the times indicated above. Details for Tech/Dress
Rehearsal on 2/4 will be shared. Performance time is 7 pm. Student performers must have
own transportation and adult chaperone if under 18 years old. Indicate interest in performing
in Aiken in the “additional information” section of the audition waiver.
Audition and rehearsals will be taking place at Dance Moves of Charleston (349 Folly Rd on James Island). A commitment and release form must be signed by a parent/legal guardian prior to audition.
Tickets for the Charleston performance will be available for purchase through the George Street Box Office starting January 4th. Tickets for the Aiken performance will be available for purchase through the Etherredge Center starting January 6th. A code will be provided for the families to use to get an additional ticket for the dancer to enjoy the second half of the concert.
