Jail Break III, the most anticipated and locally driven arts festival of Charleston is holding the city hostage April 14th, 2012. Artists of every medium are taking over The Old City Jail to transform this space of captivity into the crux of creativity. Musical giant, Slow Runner, joined by an impressive lineup of bands including: French Camp with Owen Beverly, Old You, Weigh Station, The Ryan Bonner Band, and more will sound the artistic seizure as painters take claim over the stone walls, dancers fill the space with rhythmic liberation, and artisans supply their collections of crafts and goods to a bevy of locals. Photographic artwork submitted by members of the community will also fill a room of the jailhouse in this transformative festival that brings arts to the people and people to the arts. The inmates are pulling out every stunt in their arsenal for the third Jail Break in a night that will overload the senses and bring together the most fascinating and innovative talents in the community!
